I honestly don't know what ideal soap opera really looked like but I am sure it is full with drama.
As a guy I have never like drama. I think it is cheap and over reacting, not cool. But, at the same side, Drama is one of those aspects that make our lives taste better and less boring.Plus, you can't get a good guy/ boyfriend/husband/summer romance/partner without getting a little bit involved in drama.
Drama queen look is probably the hottest right now and then and in the future. Because, we can't live without drama (that's why people invented popcorns) and there's nothing more exciting than dressed up like a drag queen with mini skirt and glittery high school pom-pom.
Okay, where can we spot a drag queen ? High school. Obviously, there is no place easier to find drama queen than a high-school with bullied children, extra-mean groups of cheerleaders and not so macho football player. Well, next step is how to spot one ?
Look at their outfit : normal ? If it yes, then look how they talk, eat, laugh and scream. Too loud ? Too much unnecessary movements ? A lot of giggling and screaming with friends ? Crying in front of public ? Flirting and fighting with boyfriends ? Bingo. Congrats, you just found a drama queen. Now, lets categorized them :
First: there is a real evil queen. They're usually a popular gangs which like to bully uh, not so popular gang and low-class people like geeks or chess club players or computer lab activists (is there any ?) and they like to laugh in oh-not-so-hollywood style which will make us gag and passed out -with a little bit seasick- effects-looked- like. Plus point : they're blonde and like pink color. Highlights and extra tanned skin ? even better. Saying darling or doll every time they meet each others ? normal. Gossiping and changing boys and most of them are mindless footballers ? that is the point.
But, don't worry if you want to look like them just wear a skinny jeans, too much make ups, cheerleader uniform, mini skirts, pink outfits, mini heels, and super tight tank tops and perfect body shape that will probably harm you someday.
Type two is a pure drama player wanna be. They like to pretend that they're in some kind of drama show or SATC's high school version and of course, they're the main leading role. The problem is there are thousands of girls that think and act the same. They're that type of girls you can find on the line of auditions hoping and dreaming and practicing their lines over and over in more and more over ways ( Sometimes, they're even thinking what they will say if some paparazzis are trying to take their pictures when they're famous and successful. They are not actress and they're not teens either.
I am not telling that you shouldn't trying to audition for something you really want and you can do it good. Take a chance and do it in normal, drama-free ways.
Well, if you want to look like type 2, start reading and watching drama movies and picked one role you liked (or more than one -including to your taste and mind) and act, dress and think like the main role. Please, be careful not to turn into the bad-girls role. Remember, drama queens mostly are good girls with wrong attitudes.
You can be a drama queen or drag queen or whatever you like but I am sure no ones like to watch a cheap soap opera, dirty soap opera.Be a real, good drama queen which you can see on Kate Hudson or Anna Hathaway's movies. They're cool and beautiful and far from dirty soap category.
