Just visited Style Bubble site and I have to say : fabulous like usual. But, there is one thing that still wondering in my head. I need to talk about it if it is not. I am going to be like a bomb shell, waiting for the right time to explode with words.
The story started with my visit to style bubble blog because I really wanted to know what kind of camera she use ? Is she use common DSLR like bloggers or Leica like common high-class bloggers (in fact, she uses canon pocket camera.Uhh...okay) but then I saw she mentioned someone on some blogs and I clicked it because I thought it was a photography blog but then, it is not. It was a page on the web about how to become a star fashion blogger. Complete with diorama, table and free-blog sites. I was kind off interested because when i started this blog or gimmegoodpicture I didn't read this kind of tip. I rather go on and all out then at some point i regret why i wouldn't do that and etc. So, i started reading and found out that I didn't even choose the right site to start with. According to the page, I should've gone with blog spot first because I am a teen and word press (i started with it) is for adults. Kay' one mistake.
Second mistake : I never commented on someone's blog before, back when i started gimmegoodpicture. That is why it took me a year to gain more than one thousand views. I need to be seen but i don't wanna see others'. Kind of creepy. I felt like i was the bad guy of word press and blogger world. But, here is the truth : I didn't comment because I am cocky but because I appreciate it in my heart and i am afraid people will think that i used to promote my blog by commenting on others' posts even when people do this all the time. Well, for me, they deserve the attention and when I give my adress in their comments spaces : I am like 'Hey, here is the thing, I like your post but mine is better' Uh, not my style. But now I have learned that maybe commenting on other's is not always bad to do.
That is the second one.
Third, Oh My God. I am not the social type blogger. I hate come to the party when I am not invited and I hate it when someone that I know -or I knew than i forgot then he/she reminded me who he/she is and I am like 'Ohh..and Ahh...'- ask me about the weather/school/family.Cheap party talk. And,when i am nervous i like to keep my mouth shut. Speaking is not allowed in my brain and when i started speaking, people like 'he has lady voice !' Good to know ya'all ! Now, you can guess if i am not brave enough to talk, am i brave enough to take photos of people secretly when they're walking or talking or laughing or hugging ? Nah. It is an awkward moment for me when I have to do that. That makes three.
Final one : no good clothes. I don't like dressing men, I am women's stylist and i am proud of that. No, outfit photos for the day or what i wear posts. Nap, I am more with polyvore.com and looklet.com -both I love soo much and I play them in my spare time- then I use quick share program to post it on my blogs when I finished. Not bad, huh ? But, i am the only one that do something like quick share and i overdone it maybe. Huh, who cares ? That makes four.
In conclusion : according to the how-to site I should started looking for new hobby (possibly starting my own food blog) but then I realized, I started this blogging thing, maybe without much preparation, but i have only one thing : passion for fashion, and now when i am writing a post, tired or not, I can feel it again : passion and love for what I have done and what I am doing and what I will do next. This is what I love. This is what i need. And, bad or good, celeb or not. I am still -and always be- a blogger.
P.S : I am not buying a DSLR. i spent my whole money in samsung galaxy note -which is my new baby gadget (Duh !).
